The OMTC Youth Summer Tennis Camps are open to any youth between 6 – 14 years of age.
Summer Camp runs weekly between 9:00AM – 12:00PM Monday – Friday

We also offer daily drop-in rates (9:00am - 12:00pm, $50 for members, $60 for non-members) pending space availability – Please call or email Mark Martynyshyn 705 321 4572 ([email protected]) prior to registering for drop-in dates. This enables us to confirm space availability based on the age of your child and our coaching staff for the date requested.

OMTC Tennis Day Camp is a great way for children to learn the game of tennis in a fun and enthusiastic environment. The program offers an introduction to the sport for beginners while at the same time helping more experienced players improve their skills. The goal is to increase each participant’s confidence and love of the great sport of tennis!

Progressive Tennis uses a systematic progression of court sizes, balls, and racquets, to scale the game down to an appropriate level. Progressive Tennis simply modifies the size of the court and equipment to acknowledge the size of the participants. We use mini nets, foam balls and various large targets to start skill building with younger children. The program is for children to focus on building skills using the ½ court. The more advanced will progress to ¾ court. Novice players will focus on ¾ court with low compression balls. Youth are grouped according to age and skill level by a Tennis Canada certified coach for on court instruction.
